Our Locally-owned Independent Businesses. . .
STRENGTHEN SAN JUAN COUNTY ECONOMY. More of each dollar spent at local independent businesses cycles through the community. Local
independent businesses and their staff hire your family members andfriends for bookkeeping, childcare, carpentry and more. Local revenues benefit from repeated tax collection for school libraries, bike paths and law enforcement, benefitting everyone.

ENSURE SAN JUAN COUNTY HAS UNIQUE AND LOCALLY TAILORED CHOICES. San Juan County community members benefit from a multitude of independent, community-rooted businesses that can tailor to local needs, make personal orders, try interesting new products suggested by customers, and give local products a change.

INSPIRE SAN JUAN COUNTY WITH CREATIVE GOODS, PEOPLE & ARCHITECTURE. Locally owned independent businesses help make San Juan County unique. With local architecture and creative store fronts, goods produced by or that appeal to community members, and often quirky owners running the store, community members are treated to experiences only found in San Juan County.

SHAPE SAN JUAN COUNTY’S FUTURE. It’s much easier to support the unique things you love about San Juan County now, than trying to recreate it. Shop at the places what make San Juan County the place you want it to be, and it will stay that way.

PRESERVE THE BEST OF SAN JUAN COUNTY’S PAST. Historical architecture and generational family businesses keep local traditions
generational family businesses keep local traditions and specialities alive and evoke childhood memories.

GIVE BACK TO SAN JUAN COUNTY WITH TIME, MONEY, GOODS AND SERVICES. Because owners live here, they care about San Juan County’s well being. From donations of photocopies and fresh donuts to sponsoring a little league baseball team, to volunteering to clean up a park, local independent businesses get involved.
